A driver of a pickup van has been arrested for allegedly working over a 10-year-old boy together with his car in east Delhi’s Mayur Vihar space and dumping him in a drain in Noida, the police stated.
The incident befell on Sunday round 5:30 pm, they stated.
After the accident, as a substitute of taking the boy to a hospital, the accused took him to Noida and thew him right into a drain in Sector 15, a senior police official stated.
The boy has been recognized as Gaffar, a resident of Mayur Vihar Section-1 Yamuna Khadar space, the police stated.
The boy’s household had approached the police on Sunday night after he didn’t return dwelling.
Throughout investigation, a baby knowledgeable the police that Gaffar had come below the wheels of a pickup van and the motive force took him in his car, an official stated.
“The crew of Mayur Vihar police station labored diligently. They analysed the CCTV footage of the realm and arrested the accused. He was recognized as Madan Gopal, a resident of Bihar,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (east) Jasmeet Singh stated.
