An FIR has been registered in opposition to the constable and residential guard jawan: Police

Lakhimpur Kheri:

A person charged below the POSCO Act fled from police custody after the car during which he was being taken to the police station stopped at a petroleum station in Lakhimpur Kheri to refuel on Sunday.

A video of the incident exhibits the accused fleeing from the petrol pump. Groups from three police stations have been deployed in a combing operation put up which the person was arrested in the present day.

An FIR has been registered in opposition to the constable and residential guard jawan who have been accompanying him.

Senior police official (ASP) Lakhimpur Kheri, Arun Kumar Singh advised reporters that the accused pushed one of many police personnel and ran away from the petrol station, when the car stopped to refuel at a petroleum station.

“So far as the negligence of Police is worried, strict motion will likely be taken in opposition to the responsible,” he added.
