Union Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik on Friday stated army institutions in Goa are prepared to assist the state authorities in case the COVID-19 outbreak worsens.

Mr Naik, a Lok Sabha MP from Goa, chaired a gathering together with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant right here the place senior officers of Coast Guard, Navy and Military had been current.

He stated the three wings had agreed to offer all assist required, together with manpower and well being services.

Mr Naik, who can also be Union AYUSH minister, stated all households within the state could be given immunity boosters via native MLAs.
