The Air India Specific plane broke into two after overshooting the runway and falling into the valley

New Delhi:

The Ministry of Exterior Affairs on Friday stated it was deeply saddened by the Air India Specific accident in Kerala’s Kozhikode and that its 24X7 helplines are open for these affected by the incident.

Seventeen folks have been killed and several other others have been injured when a Dubai-Calicut Air India Specific flight with 191 passengers and crew on board overshot the runway and fell right into a valley. The plane broke into two elements.

“We’re deeply saddened by the tragedy of Air India Specific Flight No IX 1344 at Kozhikode,” Ministry of Exterior Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava stated in a tweet.
