Greater than 60 individuals have been killed and one other 60 wounded in recent violence within the West Darfur area of Sudan, UN officers introduced Sunday.
Round 500 armed males attacked Masteri City, north of Beida, in Darfur on Saturday afternoon, stated the assertion from the UN Workplace for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
The attackers focused members of the native Masalit group, looting and burning homes and a part of the native market, the assertion added.
