Nationwide Financial institution for Agriculture and Rural Improvement (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 795 crore for reconstructing infrastructure broken by Cyclone Amphan that ripped by way of West Bengal in Could, an official from the company mentioned on Thursday.
The state authorities had sought Rs 1,028 crore from NABARD for repairing impaired embankments below Rural Infrastructure Improvement Fund (RIDF).
The quantity of Rs 795 crore was sanctioned following the enchantment by the federal government, the official mentioned.
