Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Kumar Thakur mentioned, “After checking CCTV footage of cameras put in in the home and the advanced, it was revealed that Sahi together with three extra associates had dedicated the theft.
“The accused had fled to Nepal after the incident however on the idea of technical surveillance, it was discovered that the accused was tagged by one among his pals in a photograph on Fb,” the police mentioned.
“We traced the placement and located that he was in Punjab. A staff went there and located him at a guesthouse in Mohali. He was working there as a caretaker. We arrested him,” the officer mentioned.
