The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) has arrested one other particular person from West Bengal’s Murshidabad district for his alleged involvement with a Pakistan-sponsored module of the al-Qaeda, a senior officer stated on Sunday.
The NIA apprehended Shamim Ansari from his residence at Jalangi on Saturday, he stated.
“Now we have discovered his involvement with these arrested earlier. Now we have seized his cell phone. He’s being interrogated,” the official stated.
The company had earlier arrested 9 people- six from West Bengal and three from Kerala- for his or her affiliation with the Pakistan-sponsored module of the al-Qaeda.
A preliminary investigation instructed that Ansari had earlier gone to Kerala for work and returned to his house city.
