Chandrika Rai has “no standing and no existence”, Tej Pratap Yadav mentioned (File)

RJD chief and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav in the present day reacted to the information of his estranged father-in-law Chandrika Rai becoming a member of rival JD(U) forward of the Meeting elections within the state and mentioned that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s get together “won’t acquire something” if Mr Rai joins the get together.
“JD(U) will not acquire something from Chandrika Rai becoming a member of their get together. In reality, many JD(U) MLAs are in contact with us and we are going to share the information of them becoming a member of RJD inside Four-5 days,” Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, mentioned whereas chatting with reporters.
Hitting out at Chandrika Rai, the daddy of his estranged spouse Aishwarya Rai, Tej Pratap mentioned, “He has no standing and no existence, how come he’ll have an effect on the RJD. Folks don’t love him, they love Laluji,” including, “Folks from all sections of the society are with us.”
On being requested whether or not his estranged spouse, with whom he’s embroiled in a marital dispute, will contest the election, he mentioned, “Whoever needs to battle the polls can achieve this. Our matter is in courtroom proper now. I’ve all of the proof. I respect ladies, else even I’ve video clips to point out.”
In a serious setback for the RJD, three get together MLAs – Chandrika Rai, Faraz Fatmi and Jaivardhan Yadav – joined the ruling JD(U) in Patna on Thursday.
Mr Rai had spent a few years with the RJD. Faraz Fatmi is the son of Ali Ashraf Fatmi – the previous Union Minister of State within the Ministry of Human Useful resource Improvement – who joined JD(U) final yr in July.
Jaivardhan Yadav is the grandson of former Union Minister Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav.
The Bihar Meeting Election is due in October-November this yr.
