The Odisha authorities has slashed the “Particular Covid Charge” of 50 per cent of MRP on alcoholic drinks to 15 per cent.

In an announcement, the state excise division stated solely 15 per cent “Particular Covid Charge” can be charged on MRP of varied liquor together with beer and wine as an alternative of the sooner price of 50 per cent.

The ”Particular Covid Charge” helped the Odisha authorities to generate income of Rs 200 crores.
