Jaipur:

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s allegation about horse-trading and a Rs 20 crore deal has raised the hackles of leaders from Crew Sachin Pilot. Ramesh Meena, a former minister, has questioned Mr Gehlot in regards to the cash paid to MLAs from Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Occasion, who joined the Congress through the years. Mr Meena was considered one of MLAs who joined the Congress fold.

BSP MLAs have twice left their events and merged with the Congress, “each occasions at Mr Gehlot’s behest”, Mr Meena mentioned.

In his first tenure he introduced 4 MLAs into the Congress. In his second tenure he merged six MLAs with the Congress.

One other MLA, Murari Lal Meena from Dausa, had an identical query.

“We’re upset as he’s accusing us of corruption. We wish to ask him — once we crossed over from the BSP to the Congress in his final tenure, how a lot cash did he give us,” he mentioned.
