Fifty 4 folks have been arrested for violating COVID-19 pointers in Ludhiana, Sameer Verma, Further Deputy Commissioner of police stated on Saturday.
In response to the police, on Friday, a pool celebration was organised at a restaurant underneath Sarabha Nagar police station limits amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Talking to ANI, Sameer Verma stated, “Yesterday we obtained the details about a restaurant proprietor organizing a pool celebration in Sarabha Nagar police station limits with 50 to 55 folks. On getting data, we raided the location the place folks had been seen flouting COVID-19 guidelines. We now have registered an FIR.”
“5 bottles of whiskey and 5 cartons of beer have been seized,” he added.
