Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday stated home civil aviation operations are persevering with easily and the variety of home travellers is shifting in the direction of pre-COVID figures.

He stated that over 9.1 million passengers have flown since flight operations resumed on Could 25.

“Home civil aviation operations proceed easily. With 1,16,398 passengers on September 17, 2020, we’re slowly shifting in the direction of pre-COVID figures. Greater than 9.1 million passengers have now flown since operations recommenced on Could 25, 2020,” he stated.

In the meantime, the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation stated the whole variety of fliers on September 17 was 1,16,398.

“On September 17, over 1.16 lakh passengers took to the skies; almost 1.17 lakh passenger arrivals passed off; 1,383 flight departures passed off; 1,376 flight arrivals passed off. A complete of two,759 flight actions passed off throughout the nation on Thursday and there have been over 2.33 lakh footfall on the airports,” an official launch said.
