Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj died early on Thursday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah condoled the dying of Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj right this moment. Head of one of many divisions of Swaminarayan sect, which has its temple in Maninagar space in Gujarat, the religious chief died early on Thursday, the temple authorities mentioned. Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj was 78.

“Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj was blessed with immense knowledge. His emphasis on group service, schooling and girls empowerment will at all times be remembered. I’ll always remember my many interactions with him. Om Shanti,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted. The Prime Minister mentioned, “Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj will probably be remembered for his noble service to society…”. 

Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah paid his respect to the religious chief. “Deeply saddened to be taught concerning the demise of Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj ji. A revered saint who blessed and enlightened tens of millions of lives. His divine teachings and selfless contribution in direction of the welfare of society has no parallels,” the Dwelling Minister wrote on Twitter.

“Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj ji’s life was stuffed with values and knowledge, selflessly dedicated to the higher reason behind humanity. His passing away is an irreparable loss…,” Mr Shah mentioned.
