Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday condoled the dying of famous atomic scientist Sekhar Basu, and stated he performed a key position in establishing India as a lead nation in nuclear science and engineering.
Sekhar Basu, a veteran atomic scientist and former chairman of Atomic Vitality Fee, died attributable to COVID-19 early on Thursday at a personal hospital in Kolkata.
