Prime Minister Narendra Modi, others remembered Sree Narayana Guru on his delivery anniversary

Sree Narayana Guru delivery anniversary: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tribute to religious chief and social reformer Sree Narayana Guru on his delivery anniversary. PM Modi hailed him as a “farsighted visionary” whose beliefs gave power to many throughout India. “I bow to the venerable Sree Narayana Guru on his Jayanti. His life and works epitomised the proper mix of spirituality and social reform. He emphasised on training and empowerment of ladies,” the Prime Minister tweeted. 

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, in his tribute to Sree Narayana Guru mentioned, the religious chief will all the time be remembered for his combat in opposition to the caste system.

Paying homage to the religious chief, Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah wrote on social media, Sree Narayana Guru was “a powerful advocate of equality and brotherhood…”   

Swami Sree Narayana Guru was born in Kerala on September 2, 1856. He’s identified for his immense contribution to finish social discrimination and the evils of caste system.
