Madkhot, Uttarakhand:

A portion of a bridge collapsed in Uttarakhand’s Madkhot on the Pithoragarh-Munsyari highway on Sunday, following incessant rainfall within the area.

The India Meteorological Division (IMD) on Sunday predicted pretty widespread / widespread rainfall with remoted heavy to very heavy showers over Uttarakhand and different states within the north throughout the subsequent three days.

“Underneath the affect of the above meteorological circumstances: Pretty widespread/widespread rainfall with remoted heavy to very heavy falls very seemingly over J-Okay, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and UP throughout subsequent three days,” IMD had stated in a tweet earlier at present.
