Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday attacked the Yogi Adityanath authorities in Uttar Pradesh over its dealing with of the COVID-19 disaster, saying the state authorities’s press conferences that “play like a tape recorder” won’t work anymore and a focus must be paid to the prevailing state of affairs.
The Congress common secretary has been criticising the state authorities’s response to the COVID-19 disaster, alleging that it’s indulging in propaganda, as an alternative of coping with the coronavirus pandemic.
“There are reviews that beds in authorities hospitals of the 2 main cities of UP — Lucknow and Gorakhpur — are full. Coronavirus instances are rising and this situation of hospitals is worrying,” Priyanka Gandhi stated in a tweet in Hindi.
“The considerations that had been raised earlier than the federal government three months in the past are turning out to be actual. Now, the UP authorities’s press conferences that play like a tape recorder won’t work. Consideration must be paid to the prevailing state of affairs,” she stated.
