Girls in West Bengal have complained that they had been being abused and trolled on the Web for the previous one week after the dying of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his father submitting a grievance in opposition to actress Rhea Chakraborty, who’s of Bengali origin.

The cyber cell division of Kolkata Police has began a probe into the matter, an official stated.

The West Bengal Fee for Girls has obtained no less than 4 complaints over mail by girls following which the police probe has begun.

“For the reason that final one week that now we have been receiving complaints from girls within the metropolis relating to such abuses on their social networking websites. There are no less than 4 complaints now we have obtained over mail. We’ve got forwarded them to Kolkata Police for mandatory motion,” Fee chairperson Leena Gangopadhyay stated.

One lady who’s in her late 20s has lodged a police grievance saying that she was being abused by unknown folks on her social networking platform for being a Bengali.

“We’ve got began a case and are investigating the matter,” the police official stated.

The cyber cell has contacted nodal officers and sought particulars of the social networking websites of the ladies, the official added.
