Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has accepted the proposal to develop the Nationwide Cadet Corps (NCC) in 173 border and coastal districts from the place one lakh new cadets might be inducted, an official assertion stated on Sunday.
The enlargement of the NCC was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day speech on Saturday.
