The Punjab authorities on Thursday mentioned it has fastened the coronavirus remedy charges for personal hospitals in an effort to test profiteering.
The charges, finalised for personal hospitals and medical schools by the Dr Ok Ok Talwar Committee, cowl isolation beds, ICU remedy and hospitalisation fees, per day of admission.
For reasonable illness requiring isolation beds, together with supportive care and oxygen, the charges per day are fastened at Rs 10,000 for all personal medical schools or NABH (Nationwide Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Suppliers) personal hospitals with educating programme, the federal government mentioned in an announcement.
The charges have been fastened at Rs 9,000 for NABH accredited hospitals (together with personal medical schools with out PG/DNB Course) and Rs eight,000 for non-NABH accredited hospitals, the assertion mentioned.
The per day charges throughout these classes of hospitals for extreme illness (ICU with out want for ventilator) have been capped at Rs 15,000, Rs 14,000 and Rs 13,000, respectively.
