Jaipur:

The Rajasthan authorities has permitted 5 per cent reservation to the ”extra backward courses”, together with Gurjars, within the state judicial service, in line with an announcement.

The federal government has amended the Rajasthan Judicial Service Guidelines, 2010, via the state cupboard on the initiative by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to supply 5 per cent reservation rather than one per cent, an official assertion stated.

Candidates belonging to the extra backward courses have been demanding modification within the judicial service guidelines for a very long time in order that they’ll get 5 per cent reservation within the state judicial service as a substitute of 1 per cent.

The extra backward courses embrace Gurjars, Raika-Rabari, Gadiya-Lohars, Banjara and Gadariya.
