Sachin Tendulkar Congratulates Indian Air Power As Rafale Fighter Jets Arrive In India

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to congratulate the Indian Air Power (IAF) after it welcomed 5 Rafale fighter jets at its Ambala Air Base on Wednesday. The batting legend was conferred with the honorary rank of Group Captain by the Indian Air Power in 2010. On Thursday, Sachin Tendulkar shared the IAF’s tweet on the Rafale fighter jets and stated: “Heartiest congratulations to #IndianAirForce for including the state-of-the-art fighter jet Rafale, to our fleet. It is a huge improve for our Defence Forces who’re tirelessly defending our nation within the skies. Jai Hind.” 

The IAF had tweeted: “The Chief of the Air Workers Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria & AOC-in-C WAC Air Marshal B Suresh welcomed the primary 5 IAF Rafales which arrived at AF Stn Ambala at the moment. #IndianAirForce #RafaleInIndia #Rafales.” 

Earlier, batsman Suresh Raina additionally shared the IAF’s tweet and stated: “An excellent second for whole nation as @IAF_MCC will get 5 Rafale to affix it is “Golden Arrows” squadron. It will absolutely strengthen our nation safety. Congratulations to all the nation ! Jai Hind.”

The IAF was based on October eight, 1932, and has participated in a number of essential wars and landmark missions. 

Tendulkar represented India in 200 Checks and 463 One-day Internationals, scoring 15,921 runs within the longest format and 18,426 runs in ODI cricket. He’s the one batsman to have scored 100 worldwide centuries. 

The 47-year-old was bestowed with the Arjuna Award in 1994, adopted by Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna (1997-98), Padma Shri (1999) and Padma Vibhushan (2008).
