New Delhi:

All faculties in Delhi will proceed to stay closed until September 30 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, however college students of senior lessons shall be allowed to go to their establishments for taking steerage from academics from September 21, the Directorate of Schooling (DoE) stated on Friday.

The directorate has stated that as much as 50 per cent of instructing and non-teaching workers could be known as to colleges outdoors COVID-19 containment zones for on-line instructing, tele-counselling and associated work.

“All faculties shall proceed to stay closed for college students until September 30 in view of COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, college students of lessons 9 to 12 could also be permitted to go to their faculties, in areas outdoors the containment Zones solely, on voluntary foundation, for taking steerage from their academics,” the DoE stated in an official order.

“This shall be topic to written consent of their mother and father and guardians and shall be permitted with impact from September 21 for which, SOPs shall be issued by the Well being Ministry,” it stated.

The DoE has directed that on-line lessons and instructing studying actions for college students will proceed as typical.
