Shazam! 2 now has a title — Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The forged and crew of Shazam! revealed the title for the Shazam! sequel at DC FanDome, by way of a poster proven by Faithe Herman, who performs Billy Baston’s (Asher Angel) youthful foster sister Darla Dudley on Shazam!. Along with Herman and Angel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will even star Zachary Levi as Shazam!, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Marta Milans as Rosa Vasquez, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, and Mark Robust as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods would not give us a lot to go on, although the sequel will probably contain the supervillain workforce known as Monster Society of Evil, given the presence of the speaking alien worm Mister Thoughts within the Shazam! post-credits scene, the place Mister Thoughts paid a go to to the unique movie’s villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Robust) after he was defeated by Shazam! and imprisoned. In fact, it is doable that Shazam! Fury of the Gods goes in a special course than the one it hinted at with the post-credits scene.
For DC, Shazam! Fury of the Gods is likely one of the furthest movies on the slate. We have the Gal Gadot-led Wonder Woman 1984 at the moment set for October, James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad scheduled for August 2021, the Robert Pattinson-led The Batman — not a part of the DC movie universe — for October 2021, the Dwayne Johnson-starrer Black Adam slated for December 2021, the Ezra Miller-starrer The Flash for June 2022, and the Jason Momoa-led Aquaman 2 set for December 2022.
