A 13-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Better Noida has been allegedly raped by three individuals, following which the accused have been taken into police custody, officers stated on Thursday.
The three accused and the woman belong to the identical neighbourhood in Dadri and have been identified to one another, the police stated.
Gautam Buddh Nagar Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ladies Security) Vrinda Shukla stated the incident had taken place on Tuesday and the woman’s mom approached the police on Thursday after which an FIR was lodged and the suspects detained.
“The woman was allegedly raped by the three individuals who dwell in her neighbourhood, in response to her mom. Throughout the probe it emerged that the accused already knew the woman they usually had requested a 12-year-old boy to name the woman to their home, the place the incident came about,” DCP Shukla stated.
