A resort in Thailand agreed on Friday to drop fees towards an American visitor who faces as much as 5 years in jail for posting destructive critiques so long as he points a public apology for his feedback.
The resort, on the vacation island of Koh Chang, filed a criticism towards American instructor Wesley Barnes in August after he posted what the resort mentioned had been false and defamatory write-ups after a row over a 500 baht ($16) corkage price.
Police detained Barnes below legal defamation and pc crime legal guidelines for 2 days in September earlier than he was launched on bail.
