2 tbsp white sesame seeds

2 tbsp peanuts

Half cup grated coconut or coconut powder

1 inch tamarind (imli) soaked in water

Half tbsp minced garlic

1 complete Kashmiri crimson chilli

For tempering:

Half tsp mustard seeds

Half tsp urad dal

5-6 curry leaves

Technique:

Step 1 – Dry roast sesame seeds and peanuts and hold them apart to chill down.

Step 2 – As soon as cooled, put sesame seeds and peanuts in a grinder, add Kashmiri crimson chilli, grated coconut, tamarind water, salt, garlic, and blitz until you get a easy chutney. Add some water, if required.

Step three – Put together tempering by heating curry leaves, mustard seeds, and urad dal until they splutter.
