Ahmedabad:

Three personnel of Ahmedabad Police have been arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 100 from a vegetable vendor, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) stated on Wednesday.

The accused are recognized as head constable Krishna Barot, and constables Dilip Barot and Prabhudas Damor, who all are hooked up with Gaekwad Haveli police station, the ACB stated in a launch.

The trio had been held after they had been allegedly accepting Rs 100 from the seller for letting him do enterprise exterior the wholesale vegetable market in Jamalpur space, it stated.

They’re charged below provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
