Koraput, Odisha:
At the least three labourers have been killed and 6 others critically injured in a blast at a stone quarry in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Friday, the police stated.
The incident passed off on Friday afternoon when the labourers have been loading stone chips on a tractor and a sudden blast rocked the quarry, killing three of them immediately, they stated.
Six different staff have been critically injured after being hit by boulders and stone items, following the blast, they added.
These killed embody two ladies, the police stated.
A police workforce instantly rushed to the positioning and shifted the injured labourers to the Gunupur hospital, superintendent of police Saravana Vivek M stated.
An investigation has been began to establish the circumstances which led to the incident, he stated.
