Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday urged Google CEO Sundar Pichai to put money into the state, saying there’s a nice scope for investments within the data know-how (IT) sector in small cities.

In a letter to Mr Pichai, Mr Rawat requested him to incorporate Uttarakhand in Google’s India funding plan and stated want is being felt within the time of the COVID-19 pandemic to work on an alternate growth mannequin.

Mr Rawat stated there’s a nice scope for investments within the IT sector in small cities, and in addition assured the agency of all co-operation from the state authorities within the enterprise, an official launch stated.

Mr Rawat requested Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and Extra Chief Secretary Manisha Panwar to coordinate with the administration of Google concerning the matter.
