US President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an government order barring transactions with the Chinese language mum or dad firm of social media platform TikTok after 45 days.
“The USA should take aggressive motion in opposition to the house owners of TikTok to guard our nationwide safety,” the order stated.
“The next actions shall be prohibited starting 45 days after the date of this order… any transaction by any individual, or with respect to any property, topic to the jurisdiction of the USA, with ByteDance Ltd.”
