The Metro rail service within the nationwide capital will resume from September 7 after being shut for over six months due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Delhi Metro Rail Company mentioned in a tweet on Saturday, after the Centre released its Unlock4 guidelines.

“As per the most recent tips, Delhi Metro can be resuming its providers for public from 7 September 2020 onwards in a calibrated method. Particulars on the Metro functioning and its utilization can be shared as soon as the detailed SOP (customary working process) on Metros is issued by MoHUA,” DMRC tweeted.

The Centre, in its Unlock4 tips right now, allowed Metro providers throughout the nation in a graded method.

“Metro rail can be allowed to function with impact from seventh September 2020 in a graded method, by the Ministry of Housing and City Affairs (MOHUA)/ Ministry of Railways (MOR), in session with MHA.
