A lawyer in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj was injured final evening after he was allegedly shot at and overwhelmed up by some males linked to a gang, police stated this morning.
Abhishek Shukla, the newly-elected joint secretary of Bar Affiliation, was the lawyer who was attacked. In response to the police criticism, the accused are “members of prison Atiq Ahmad’s gang”. He has been admitted to a hospital.
“This incident occurred at Jagriti Vihar Chowk. In response to the complaints filed by members of Allahabad Excessive Courtroom Bar Affiliation, some males belonging to prison Atiq Ahmad’s gang had fired upon Abhishek Shukla, the newly-elected joint secretary of Bar Affiliation. The injured has been shifted to hospital. We’ve registered the case,” stated Further Director Normal of Police (ADG) Prem Prakash whereas talking to media, including that the accused are lacking.
“The bullet missed the advocate. Police are looking for them. We’re checking their information in outdated instances towards them,” he added.
Sanjeev Kumar Singh, ex-joint secretary, Library Excessive Courtroom Bar Affiliation stated, “We had been at Jagriti Vihar Chowk, our automobile touched the automobiles of the accused and so they abused us. Once we requested them to cease abusing us, they shot at us with a country-made pistol. Abhishek Shukla, the joint secretary of the bar affiliation of Excessive Courtroom was injured within the incident.”
