A workers member of the US Consulate Common in Hong Kong was attacked by a person exterior his office on Tuesday afternoon, police and a US official mentioned.

The monetary hub’s police mentioned they obtained a report on an assault within the afternoon which a consulate worker suffered a bloody harm to his head after a person struck him and fled. 

A spokesperson of the consulate confirmed a workers member had been “assaulted by an unknown particular person”.

“The worker didn’t maintain life-threatening accidents. We can’t speculate on the assailant’s motives presently,” the consulate official added.
