Miles Taylor is likely one of the most senior former Trump officers to endorse Joe Biden

A former high-ranking Trump administration official stated on Monday the US is “much less safe” underneath the Republican president as he endorsed Democratic challenger Joe Biden for November’s election.
Miles Taylor, who served on the Division of Homeland Safety between 2017 and 2019, together with as chief of workers, stated he “witnessed the damning outcomes firsthand” of what he referred to as President Donald Trump’s “private deficiencies.”
“I can attest that the nation is much less safe as a direct results of the president’s actions,” Taylor wrote in an op-ed printed within the Washington Publish on the day the Democrats kick off a four-day digital conference to appoint Biden.
“Right this moment the nation has fewer pals and stronger enemies than when Trump took workplace.”
In an announcement to Reuters, White Home Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere referred to as Taylor “one other creature of the D.C. Swamp who by no means understood the significance of the President’s agenda or why the American individuals elected him and clearly simply desires to cash-in.”

Taylor is likely one of the most senior former Trump officers to endorse Biden, the previous vice chairman who has a stable lead in most opinion polls for the Nov. three election. He referred to as Trump’s presidency “dangerously chaotic.”
