Miami:

Prosecutors in Florida on Friday stated they’ve filed a slew of prison expenses towards a 17-year-old accused of masterminding the huge hack of high-profile Twitter customers in mid-July.

Investigators recognized Florida resident Graham Ivan Clark because the “mastermind” of the cyberattack and arrested him in Tampa, Hillsborough state lawyer Andrew Warren stated.

The assault which Twitter stated resulted from a “cellphone spear phishing” assault enabled the hackers to take management of accounts of well-known individuals comparable to Invoice Gates, Elon Musk and former US president Barack Obama and trick individuals into sending greater than $100,000 value of Bitcoin.

“This defendant lives right here in Tampa, he dedicated the crime right here, and he’ll be prosecuted right here,” Warren added.
