In a bone-chilling video, a wild bear is seen attacking a person whereas locals attempt to rescue the individual by hitting the animal with sticks. The bear then runs away leaving the person with severe accidents.
The incident occurred in a residential space of the Bhawanipatna metropolis in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Friday. The video of the entire incident surfaced on the web additionally.

Later, the locals knowledgeable the forest division and an operation was underway to seize the wild animal.
“That is occurring for the second time throughout my tenure, first was on August 15 after which it has occurred right this moment. One tranquillising group is prepared and after tranquillising it, we’ll depart it within the forest,” Nitish Kumar, district forest officer mentioned.
