No matter Governor has mentioned is right, mentioned Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday after Governor Satya Pal Malik dismissed the previous’s assertion concerning ”unsuitable info” by media.
Earlier within the day, Mr Malik refuted the assertion by Mr Sawant, who mentioned that the Governor has mentioned that media is giving the “unsuitable info” concerning COVID-19 state of affairs within the coastal state.
“No matter Governor has mentioned is right,” Mr Sawant advised reporters when requested to touch upon Mr Malik who dismissed the Chief Minister’s declare.
Mr Sawant mentioned that Governor Malik had expressed considerations about “unsuitable details about COVID-19 being circulated by social and mainstream media”.
“There may be unsuitable info being circulated on social media, so we gave him (Malik) the appropriate image. He praised the continued efforts made by us and mentioned that social media, digital media and print media is giving the unsuitable image,” the Chief Minister mentioned.
Later, the Governor clarified that he by no means mentioned something about media and apparently cornered Mr Sawant for misquoting him.
“It is a huge impropriety on a part of Chief Minister. I’ve by no means mentioned something towards media, print media or social media. Media is our power and it informs us about lacunas. On the idea of the knowledge, I known as a gathering. It’s unsuitable to say. It’s extremely improper. Any civilised man mustn’t do it. These phrases which weren’t mentioned shouldn’t be put in another person”s mouth. I’ve no drawback with media,” Mr Malik advised ANI when requested to touch upon Mr Sawant’s comment.
