Messaging app WhatsApp noticed an outage in India and the world over within the early hours of Wednesday with hundreds of customers reporting glitches within the standard finish to finish encrypted software.

In keeping with Down Detector, which displays and affords real-time standing and outage data, customers began reporting issues since 1:32 AM.

Most customers (72 per cent) reported problems with connection, sending or receiving messages in addition to log-in issues.

Most of the over 1.5 billion customers, each on Android and iOS, had been unable to log into the app. The rationale behind the snag is but to be introduced by the corporate.

On varied social media together with Twitter, customers took to submit concerning the issues they had been dealing with with the favored cross-platform messaging software.

“Has anybody Observed that WhatsApp is down… Or is it simply me…” wrote a consumer on Twitter.

One other tweeted, “WhatsApp is down even after uninstalling, reinstalling and rebooting my cellphone.”

Downdetector.com had customers from Sri Lanka, Peru, London, New Delhi, New York, Brazi, Netherlands, Germany, Egypt, Colmbia, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Romania, Trinidad & Tobago, Eire and so on reporting the outage.

Nonetheless, a short time later the platform resumed functioning.

This isn’t the primary time that the messaging app has stopped working. WhatsApp customers confronted the same difficulty twice in January 2019.
