The Gautam Buddh Nagar police on Wednesday rescued 11 minors engaged in baby labour at accommodations and outlets in Noida and Larger Noida, officers mentioned.
The district’s labour division has additionally initiated authorized motion in opposition to the erring lodge and store homeowners, a police spokesperson mentioned.
A ”No Youngster Labour Marketing campaign” is being carried out in Gautam Buddh Nagar from September 1 until September 30 on the directions of senior police officer Alok Singh, the official mentioned, including, Vrinda Shukla, senior police official, (girls security) is supervising the drive.
“As a part of the marketing campaign, 11 minors have been rescued from varied accommodations and outlets within the district on Wednesday. The labour division is finishing up authorized motion in opposition to the offending accommodations and outlets,” the spokesperson mentioned.
