A minimum of 14 individuals have been admitted to a hospital after an ammonia gasoline leak at a milk dairy unit in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor on Thursday, officers mentioned.
The incident occurred at Bandapalli in Putalapattu Mandal.
“We bought the data that ammonia gasoline leaked at Hatson firm milk course of unit close to Putalapattu at round 5 pm. 14 labourers who have been working in that shift are delivered to the hospital right here in Chittoor. Amongst them, three persons are severe and possibly will likely be shifted to SVIMS or Ruia hospital in Tirupati,” Dr Narayan Bharat Gupta, Chittoor District Collector, mentioned.
“All are steady. All of them are ladies. It’s to but be ascertained whether or not this incident is a results of the negligence of administration or the negligence of the employees. Industries division Common Supervisor and fireplace division officers will evaluate the ground-level state of affairs on Friday,” he mentioned.
Putalapattu Sub Inspector, Chittoor District, knowledgeable that the gasoline has been contained on the dairy.
Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has spoken with the Chittoor District Collector and ordered an inquiry into the incident.
