Gautam Buddh Nagar police have busted an inter-state drug racket with the arrest of six individuals from Uttar Pradesh’s Better Noida and seized over 400 kg of contraband price greater than Rs three crore, officers stated at present.
The drug commerce was found by police personnel from Beta 2 police station in Better Noida at present. “With this, a provide chain of medicine in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat in addition to western UP has been unearthed,” the police stated.
“Throughout the motion, 42 kg doda, 172 kg hashish, 176 kg bhang and 10.5 kg cannabis had been recovered and 6 individuals concerned in trafficking of medicine had been arrested. The seized contraband is price Rs three.36 crore,” a police spokesperson stated.
These arrested have been recognized as Kaafil, Naeem, Radha Kishan Pandey, Mool Chand, Shivam Sharma and Tarun Chaudhary. All of them are residents of neighbouring Bulandshahr district, the official stated.
A firearm together with some ammunition was additionally seized from Tarun Chaudhary, the official added.
