Union Minister Raosaheb Danve on Saturday stated Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, whose celebration is protesting in opposition to the brand new farm sector legal guidelines, was a part of a committee which studied the draft legislations.
Mr Singh’s authorities was in favour of the payments, he claimed. The Congress, which guidelines in Punjab, is opposing the brand new legal guidelines.
Mr Danve, Union Minister of State for Shopper Affairs and Meals and Public Distribution, stated the three payments have been launched after intensive consultations with all stakeholders, and claimed they have been being opposed for “political functions”.
“These payments weren’t introduced by the BJP alone. A committee of chief ministers, together with CM Amarinder Singh of Punjab, deliberated on them.
“The opposition events had had their say on the payments,” Mr stated, talking to reporters.
He claimed the Punjab authorities was in favour of the payments as farmers there have been paying eight.5 per cent tax whereas promoting their produce.
The Farmers’ Produce Commerce and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Invoice, 2020, The Farmers (Empowerment and Safety) Settlement of Worth Assurance and Farm Companies Invoice, 2020 and The Important Commodities (Modification) Invoice 2020 turned legislation after getting the presidential assent earlier this week.
