Newly nominated MLC and BJP chief CP Yogeshwar on Thursday claimed prime leaders of JD(S) and Congress had been not directly supporting the state authorities and had been indulging in “adjustment politics”.
The actor-turned-politician alleged whereas JD(S) chief HD Kumaraswamy was attempting to “regulate” with the federal government for his political survival, state Congress chief DK Shivakumar wished Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and the BJP authorities to proceed.
Each Mr Kumaraswamy and Mr Shivakumar dismissed his claims.
Referring to Mr Kumaraswamy’s outbursts towards Congress, Mr Yogeshwar advised reporters: “If we consider this, he’s fully supporting our authorities.”
He mentioned Mr Shivakumar “talks about Congress within the morning, however in the course of the evening involves the Chief Minister to hunt his cooperation and blessings… he too internally desires this Chief Minister and BJP authorities to proceed.”
