New Delhi:

BJP leaders, together with its Delhi unit chief Adesh Gupta and Chief of Opposition within the metropolis Meeting Ramvir Bidhuri, have been detained throughout a protest in opposition to the AAP authorities over the problem of electrical energy payments within the Civil Traces space in New Delhi on Monday.

The leaders staged a sit-in close to the Civil Traces metro station and tried to march in the direction of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Flagstaff Street once they have been stopped and detained by the police.

Addressing the protesters, Mr Gupta mentioned the folks of Delhi are receiving electrical energy payments for “large” quantities and demanded that the Mr Kejriwal authorities withdraw the fastened expenses and cease the disconnection notices being despatched by the discoms to the customers.

The leaders, together with Mr Gupta and Mr Bidhuri, have been taken to the Civil Traces police station, from the place they have been launched subsequently, Delhi BJP’s media cell head Ashok Goel mentioned.
