Ghaziabad:

A card-cloning system was discovered at a financial institution’s ATM in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the police stated.

The skimming system was discovered by a buyer whereas utilizing the Axis Financial institution’s ATM machine within the Vaishali space of town to withdraw money.

“After I swiped my ATM card, the machine didn’t dispense any money. As an alternative, I discovered a plate with double tape affixed to it. On pulling it out, I found a battery, a digicam and an SD card,” stated Sunil Shastri.

Indirapuram Circle Officer Anshu Jain stated: “Round 9:30 pm, the police station acquired a telephone name saying that an ATM card cloning machine had been discovered. The system was handed over to the police instantly and the financial institution was contacted for the CCTV footage of the ATM. Additional motion will probably be taken.”

An investigation within the case is underway, the police stated.
