In a grotesque incident, a person with the assistance of his second spouse allegedly killed his seven-year-old daughter and buried her in his home in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, the police stated on Sunday.
Ravi Babu, a resident of Aalok Nagar, had married Ritu after the dying of his first spouse virtually two years in the past, senior police official of Izzatnagar police station KK Verma stated.
“On Thursday, they killed Kajal (7) and buried her in the home. When police reached the home after being knowledgeable by their neighbours, the husband-wife duo stated their pet had died. Nevertheless, some kids knowledgeable police that Kajal had died,” Mr Verma stated.
On Friday, the lady’s cousin Suraj lodged a police criticism alleging that his sister has been murdered.
On Sunday, following orders by the district Justice of the Peace, the physique of the lady was exhumed, the police stated, including that Kajal’s elder sister remains to be lacking.
Ravi and his spouse have been detained and the matter is being investigated, the police stated.
