Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors emerged triumphant of their respective matches within the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) on Wednesday (native time). Trinbago Knight Riders defeated St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 59 runs whereas Guyana Amazon Warriors outclassed St Lucia Zouks by seven wickets right here on the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium. Trinbago is on the prime of the CPL standings with 16 factors from eight matches, whereas Guyana is at second place with 10 factors from 9 matches.

St Lucia is within the third place, whereas St Kitts is languishing on the backside place.

Within the match between Warriors and Zouks, the latter batted first and managed to place up a below-par rating of 109/7.

Warriors then chased down the goal with 37 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand.

Shimron Hetmyer performed an unbeaten knock of 56 as Warriors registered a win by seven wickets.

Alternatively, within the match between Trinbago and Patriots, the previous batted first and scored 174/four within the allotted twenty overs as Lendl Simmons performed an unbeaten knock of 96 runs.

Sikander Raza then took three wickets for Trinbago because the facet comfortably defended the entire to register a win by 59 runs.

Trinbago has now registered wins in all their eight matches to this point within the CPL.
