The Delhi authorities can be offering monetary help of Rs 10 lakh to the household of a 56-year-old man who drowned whereas attempting to manoeuvre his mini-truck by a waterlogged underpass following heavy rains within the metropolis, the Aam Aadmi Social gathering stated on Monday.

Kundan Singh, survived by his spouse and two daughters, was driving a Tata Ace from the New Delhi Railway Station to Connaught Place when he obtained caught below the waterlogged Minto Bridge in central Delhi on Sunday.

“The Delhi authorities is offering monetary help of Rs 10 lakh to the household of the person who died Kundan Singh, who misplaced his life within the unlucky incident close to Minto Bridge,” the official account of the Aam Aadmi Social gathering tweeted in Hindi.

Mr Singh was the only real bread-earner of his household, together with his aged mother and father, spouse and two daughters, aged 22 years and 11 years, who reside in Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, his cousin Pritam Singh stated on Sunday.
